SHANE LOWRY HAS followed Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell in pulling out of the Rio Olympics.
The Offaly man this afternoon announced his decision to withdraw from the Games due to fears over the Zika virus.

Read More: It's regrettable, but I can't say I blame them. Seeing pics of those little babies that have been affected by Zika virus is heart-breaking.

I'm very glad they won't be going. Rory is one of my favorites golfers & I'd hate to hear of him getting the Zika virus & passing it to his wife/girlfriend. Actually I hope more stay away.
