Did some sorting. Watched the "Centenary" once-off performance in the Bord Gais Energy Theater. Oh my God! It was the most stunning, emotive, genius thing I've ever seen on stage, even though I watched it on telly. There's just no describing how imaginative and innovative it was.

Managed to do something I have been planning for some time. Due to all the rain we've had this winter, I was thinking my compost heap was turning into one mass of congealed slurry. I had the idea that I was going to fork it out and put some wood covered by landscaping sheeting underneath, so as to allow the wet to seep through.

I did that, but much to my surprise, the heap was not water-logged but had rotted very well and was a mass of worms. It was good for it to be turned over and aerated anyway. I'm sure the worms appreciated it. So now the whole heap is lifted off the ground leaving more space for the water to seep away. I feel better about the situation and glad that I was able to do that myself. I had thought I would need to hire someone to do it.

That is a good job out the way Whisker.

We usually ring around every twelve months for the insurances as they come in but have stayed with the same company for years now. Still darn expensive though.
