I must get a section organized on OtL for "Our Pets". My cat Minnie had to be put to sleep recently. I was devastate at her loss, but had gotten over it. Tonight, I received a phone-call from the vet asking me to adopt a four -year old cat, whose owner wants her adopted for very genuine reasons. By the time I reached the phone, he was gone and had only left a message. Will phone him tomorrow to get more details. I imagine I will adopt this cat, whatever the story, as a lot of people were urging me to get another cat. I feel this is the Powers That Be telling me I need to do this.
This is not a shelter, @deyana, though I had intended approaching my local shelter. It is my local vet, who had put Minnie to sleep. He now has a cat named Susie, who he is offering to me. I'm to go in on Monday to see her.
Look forward to a photo of you new addition to the family Whisker. I am sure you will adopt. Lovely scenery Deyana and Angel does look lovely, something has caught her attention in the photo.
I just have the grocery shopping so glad when that is over.
