LOL! Suzie "escaped" into the garden when I opened the door. I was in a state, wondering what I was going to have to tell the vet re how I had lost his cat. I spent ages calling her and trying to entice her to come back. I could hear her meowing, and had even sighted her about three times, but could not get close enough to catch her. Next thing the dog next door had had enough of the commotion and started barking. Suzie took one bound from the bottom of the garden up the path and straight in my back door. LOL! At least she has identified my home as a place of safety! What a relief!
I bet you were relieved. This will be the turning point for Suzie Whisker.
You can say that again, toetapping! I was very relieved. My niece is a vet and she says she thinks the behaviors could indicate a form of cat epilepsy. Poor Suzie gets very agitated and fights most aggressively with her tail. Then, when she's tired out, she goes to sleep and sleeps for hours. She relates well to me and welcomes me by jumping up on my lap, if I have just come in after being out. But that only lasts for a few seconds, and then her pupils start to dilate and she's into another episode. My own vet is very well versed in his job, so I will wait until he contacts me, as promised. Maybe if Suzie is properly diagnosed, there can be medication to help that condition.
Great that you are taking execise classes, toetapping! You're a great example to us all!
Thanks whisker. I love my exercise classes I have been going 6 years twice a week and before that linedanced for 10. When our weather is cooler we walk 5 days a week. If I didn't do that I would just sit and the computer. Today one of our friends is having a birthday party so a group are coming around for afternoon tea. One of the ladies baked a cake.
So you must be fairly fit then, toetapping. I'm sure you will have fun at the party. Every so often we need to "treat ourselves"!
The Active Retirement Group, to which I belong, run exercise classes, bowls and line-dancing, but so far i haven't attended any of them. I have such bad arthritis in my knees, it's difficult to consider anything like that.
