Now look at the state of my garden after eight storms. These are my Brussels sprouts and curly kale. Though damaged, I can still eat them - so all's not lost. They are tough cookies!
Oh wow Whisker, I just love your garden. I moved into a bungalow 2 years ago due to bad health. I had not had a garden up till then for the last 25 years and last year I really got into the growing side of things. Pretty novice to say the least. But this year will be different hubby is getting me a little green house.
He does all the soil turning but the rest is pretty much down to to me. I can not do a lot as I have a bad back problem and a wheel chair user but I have plenty of imagination lol
I have my little bags of seed spuds in the back room just now. I am hoping to get them in the ground at the end of Feb beginning of march. Just got to keep my eye on the frost.
Loved hearing about your bungalow move and your garden, @mo. I can't think of anything more therapeutic and good for the soul than gardening. I have chairs at different spots in my garden. Nothing lifts my spirits more than to sit in my chairs as the sun goes down in the quiet of the evening.
