Create a Personalized Font
Here is something that may amuse you, you Skills Junkies! Put a code in your profile that will give you a Personalized style to your font. I.E a particular type of font/font size/color all the time, without having to style it each time you reply.
Here's what Proboards have to say:
We have a box in your profile labeled "Default BBCode" that might achieve what you're looking for. Anything placed in that box will be present in the BBCode tab when you go to post, so placing
[font color="50749e"][font size="1"][b]
with no closing tags in your Default BBCode section would allow you to start your posts off with that styling with no post formatting required. To explain this a bit more:
Figure #1.
Go to Profile > Edit Profile > Settings tab, and toggle your "Posting Default" setting to "BBCode". After doing so, the container that allows you to provide default BBCode will appear on the page. See Fig. #1 above.
When you tick BBCode [arrow #1 above], a container will open up underneath that says:
Default BBCode
What you type here will show up in all of your posts by default
What you type here will show up in all of your posts by default
Anything placed in that box will be present in the BBCode tab when you go to post, so placing
[font color="50749e"][font size="1"][b]
with no closing tags in your Default BBCode section would allow you to start your posts off with that styling with no post formatting required. Proboards. What that means is you can decide what styling you want to use and paste, (or type), into that box, just the tags that go before your text in your reply, leaving out the closing tags that go at the end. See fig.#2 below:
Fig. #2.
So what you might enter might look something like this: See Fig. #2 above. Nothing else! Of course you would choose your own color hex number, size of font etc.
My tip would be: Go to your Reply, not on Edit Profile page, but in the main Reply to posts. Play around with styling the font you want. Copy the BBCode that goes in front of your text - not at the end of it - and paste the tags onto Notepad, or somewhere like that, where you can get to them again. Then go into your Profile editing page, as described above, and paste (or type), those tags into the box as above. That's all you need. Save changes! If you are not satisfied with the results, you can go back in and delete what you have done - and try again!
Actually the tags you save in the box, will appear at the top of each reply you start. Just ignore them. They will be doing their work, styling your text automatically. So you have a permanent text, personalized to your own taste. Until you decide to change it, that is.
Feedback, please, on how you got on - or any questions! ! Enjoy!
