Bison slaughter begins at Yellowstone National Park
Last week, officials from the National Park Service began rounding up bison in Yellowstone National Park for slaughtering.
The government agency annually slaughters the bison and this year plans to kill up to 900.
The park service does it because nearby landowners and ranchers don’t want the bison to migrate onto their land and possibly infect their cattle with disease.
