This Very Dangerous "High Risk Offender" Has Just Been Released From Prison

The Halifax, Nova Scotia, Police Department is warning residents to beware of Melissa Shepard, 80, who is now living in the community. Shepard was just released from prison after a completing a 2013 sentence for administering noxious things and not providing the necessities of life to her husband Fred Weeks, whose coffee she spiked with tranquilizers.

Sure! that is so funny! She looks so much like someone's dear old Granny!

I'm just reminded this minute, about something that was said this evening by my hairdresser. We were chatting and one thing was leading to another. We got into talking about this "black widow" who is serving a jail sentence for killing her husband. I was remarking that she was likely to be released sometime soon. My hairdresser asked me did I realize that, while in jail, she has trained to be a hairdresser and a beautician. He was falling around laughing at the prospect of her being employed when she gets out in his salon. He was imagining a scenario when people would be asked who would you like to do your hair? How about Catherine? Then he was considering how people would have to make sure she didn't get her hands on a scissors! LOL

She's probably making good money in prison, looking after the lady's make-up and coiffures. The same lady is very capable and, who knows, when she gets out, she'll start up her own business and have people flocking to her, just for the sensational value of it.
