Australian priest fighting to abolish 'gay panic' law
AN AUSTRALIAN Catholic priest has started a petition to repeal a law which can allow someone to get away with murder if the victim made unwanted homosexual advances.
Father Paul Kelly began his campaign after a gay man died from suspected internal bleeding after being beaten by two men outside his church.
The "gay panic" defence is an historic law which is still applicable in two Australian states.
